HidForge on your phone
Control your computer from your phone: your finger as a touchpad or a mouse, the phone keyboard in any language, Esc, Ctrl, Alt and F1–F12 keys. You need a HidForge account and HidForge on the computer.
The phone connects from any network: home Wi-Fi or mobile internet.
Android
The app for Android 8.0 and later. It installs from this site; Google Play is not needed.
1
Download the file
Tap the button above on your phone. Browsers warn about any app not from Google Play, so download the file only from this site, hidforge.com, never from links in chats or on other sites.
2
Allow the install
Open the downloaded HidForge-Android.apk. Android asks to allow installing apps from the browser: Settings → Allow from this source → back.
3
Install
Tap Install. If Play Protect warns about an unknown developer, install only a file from hidforge.com whose SHA-256 matches the one on the Download page. If it differs or came from elsewhere, do not install it. Android accepts updates only with the same developer signature.
4
Sign in
Open HidForge from its icon and sign in with the same account as on the site.
Updates: on start the app checks for a new version and offers to install it; Android asks you to confirm. No need to remove the old version.

iPhone and iPad
On iPhone HidForge is a web app: an icon on the Home Screen that opens full screen without browser bars. No App Store needed.
1
Open the site in Safari
Open hidforge.com/link/app in Safari.
2
Tap Share
The square with an arrow up — at the bottom on iPhone, at the top on iPad.
3
“Add to Home Screen”
Scroll the list down, choose “Add to Home Screen”, then Add.
4
Open from the icon and sign in
The HidForge icon appears on the Home Screen. Open it and sign in again: the web app does not see a sign-in made in Safari.
On the computer
You need HidForge for Windows 0.2.17 or later (it updates itself). With an older one everything works except typing text from the phone keyboard.
